So, today Ashley had her first orthodontics appointment. It was just and evaluation to see what the plan needs to be. She is pretty nervous about the whole thing, but I know she will do fine with it. Tomorrow she has a second appointment. They are going to take some x-rays, do a casting of her teeth and put in spacers. Then next week, Wednesday, she will go back and get the braces on!! She will have them on the top front 4 teeth and a couple teeth in back. She will also probably be wearing a head gear, but just at night for bed. She will more then likely have a second phase of braces when she gets a little older. This first phase sounds like it will take about a year.
