We went to the on post library this morning so the girls can have some books to read this summer. When we were there they signed up for a summer reading program called A Midsummer Knight's Read. Its a program put on at many military installations worldwide. They each (even Hannah) got a shirt and a bag of goodies (pencil, stickers, bookmark, reading log) just for signing up! So they are going to keep track of what they read this summer and by the end should get a certificate for taking part.
here are the shirts they got, Ashley got the blue one, and Hannah and Megan got the white one.
And they already started reading as soon as we got home! A little quiet time!! Kind of nice!
